This was a great find! Super comfortable and fits perfect. I was looking forward to every chance to wear it. It got me through one winter as a happy camper with no issues. We'll see how it holds up to the test of time. This jacket is very warm. Extremely warm. But I hate putting it on and taking it off. Especially when wearing a sweatshirt or sweater. The bottom jack sleeves are tight and the shirt sleeves don't slide into or out of the jacket sleeves. When I put it on, I have to reach inside the jacket sleeves to pull the sweatshirt or sweater sleeves down. It's a by product of the insulation in the jacket sleeves. That being said, the fit is perfect. It is extremely warm. If it weren't for that, I'd give it 5 stars.Great jacketI work in the Tokyo city center, and live in the outskirts of Tokyo. Winter here ranges from -4 Deg C at night/morning to about 8 in the afternoon (Sorry I don't know what it is in farenheit). This jacket is more than comfortable in these temperatures, keeping me toasty all the way through. Windproofing was stellar too, couldn't feel the slightest hint of wind, and we get some really gusty days in Tokyo. Haven't really tested it in mountainous areas but I'm quite certain that it'll stand up to the test. I won't go all out and say that it'll be invincible in a place like Canada or Russia, but if you're an urban dweller then this is definitely more than sufficient and comfortable. The only gripe I have is that the size runs large; I'm 178 cm (5'11 I think) and size S for this jacket justtttt about fits me, so I recommend going down half or a full size. All in all a great jacket, great value for money, and if it breaks down (bloody hell I hope it won't, this thing feels tough) I'll be getting another one pretty sharpish.I’m 5’10” 165lb and size small fit perfect. Shoulders fit squarely, sleeves come past wrist and room inside for layering up with room to spare.PROS: 100% windproof. mask built into hood came in handy with 20 below windchill. Incredibly warm in below 0 temps, I didn’t even realize the temps until the wind hit my face. The elastic in waist and cuffs is thick heavy duty and high quality, no concern about stretching out or falling apart.CONS: Slightly bulky (but to be expected). With fur attached to hood the hood comes a little below my eyes limiting my field of vision (not the case when fur is removed)All in all this is warmer than I could have hoped. Incredibly comfortable to wear, as all the contact point near hands face and neck have a soft microfiber fabric piece which is greatly appreciated walking in the cold. As stated in other reviews this coat will have you sweating if you keep it on indoors, and I leave my car temp much cooler when wearing or I start sweating as well.Worth every dollar! Kept me warm on temperatures around 30°F, wearing only a t-shirt beneath. Looks good with ski pants and regular jeans. Recommended! I'm always a size Large but went with the Medium and it fits great! You still have room to wear with base and mid layers. My husband bought this for Philadelphia and it was great! We walked around outside for hours in January and he stayed warm and dry. We even sat outside during an Eagles game for 4 hours when the wind chill was in single digits. Highly recommend.Bought this for my husband as a Christmas gift. Got a size medium. He’s about 145 lbs & 5’11”. It fits perfect everywhere and the length is excellent. Would be a bit snug with a sweater underneath but that’s no problem. The coat is warm enough with just a long sleeve shirt. It’s very comfortable. Arms don’t feel restricted. There is a zipper pocket on the inside. The face covering is built into the hood inside. I like the option to remove the fur from the hood and that the hood is adjustable. It doesn’t feel too light weight but at the same time not heavy when wearing, basically what you would expect for it to work and keep you warm. Works well in rain or snow. I’m so happy with this purchase and my husband loves it! Glad I didn’t go with a large for him because it would look too baggy. The color is awesome too. Perfect winter coat! Well I think I covered everything. Lol Hope this helps anyone considering this for a purchase. The photograph for TNF black shows a dark/black NorthFace Logo for the chest and the back shoulder but the actual product has a light grey. It is a easily identifiable brand logo. This is fine as it is the true color pattern for TNF Black (as shown on the North Face website) but, the photographs should reflect that as well.Jacket itself = 5/5. Classic Gotham back for a new generation.Very fashionable, very warm! Laurentian winters in Canada can be brutal but this jacket does the job of keeping the elements out with a decent base layer. I highly recommend! For me five stars doesn’t exist, so I give four…I bought it during summer to take advantage of very low prices offered online, looks great, feels comfortable and warm….I recommend it.Absolutely the best fit and warmth. I have bought 3 northface over my life time and this now being the 4th has the best fit.No me ha gustado que el elastico que cierra las mangas ya tiene hilos suelto, y me la pongo solo los fines de semana. ?
